Kia Lyons' goal is to lead others to self-love, happiness and success. Her passion is motivating and inspiring others to live their truth and to love who they are. Her guidance focuses on personal empowerment and personal image.  She helps others fine tune and represent their best self.

Kia has designed for some of the country’s top design houses and collaborated with fashion’s greatest influential leaders. She is honored that her contributions of successful apparel designs have brought abundance to others, achieving millions in sales nationwide.


Kia has been honored to to work with and learn from inspiring apparel industry greats: Emil DeJohn, Ralph Lauren, Bob Mackie, Betsey Johnson, Joan Shepp, Marcie Corbett, Kimora Lee Simmons, Todd Oldham, Pinkus Brothers, Bill Blass, Adrienne Vittadini, Cynthia Rowley, Jill Stuart, Paul Robb, Stuart Goldblatt, Federated Department Stores, Macy's Private Labels, Bloomingdales, Arnold Palmer Golf, Kellwood, Northern Isles, Slates, Nordstroms, J.Crew. A Moore College of Art & Design Alumnae, Kia has high standards when it comes to apparel and space design. Prior to majoring in fashion design at Moore, she studied psychology at West Virginia University to better understand the human spirit. Kia enjoyed creating fashion shows & designing women's & men's ready to wear on fashion avenue in New York.  Her greatest design focus was primarily in young men's urban market.


For Federated Merchandising Group (Macy's/Bloomingdales) , Kia created best selling private label designs with custom graphic designs that lead sales across the country, in the entire men's market including men's outerwear, wovens, swim, walk shorts and Arnold Palmer Golf.


Lyons was also head color supervisor & embellishment designer for all Federated men's private label categories: Alfani, Tasso Elba, Savile Row, Arnold Palmer Golf. Lyons sourced fabrics globally and worked directly with different countries. She gained a personal interest in the work, stories and hearts of people all over the world.

Kia has been honored designing apparel, sold nationally and has received various design awards.  As Federated Merchandising Group's private label men's designer, she discovered a link between personal comfort, individuality and confidence. Kia thrives on client's personal growth and happiness.

With an extensive background in Fashion Design and emotional wellness,  Kia specializes in personal empowerment. Kia has always enjoyed lifting and understanding the spirit of others. 


For the past 30 years, Lyons has worked to grow her knowledge by studying personal development coaching from the great masters, including Dr. Wayne Dyer and  Dr. Deepak Chopra. Kia gained great personal experiences committing her time to help others locally through women's personal empowerment groups.


Kia is a certified Usui Reiki Master. Reiki is the ancient art of moving powerful new energy through the body to bring healing and strength. Upon learning reiki, her life-long passion for helping others know self-worth and be their best self, rose to a whole new level. She started coaching professionally in 2015 and is grateful to work closely with others. 

By combining various Coaching and Self empowerment Techniques, Kia helps others to represent their best self. She enjoys connecting with clients across the county and welcomes hearing about you and your journey.

Kia now is in the process of creating an empowering children's book as well as a new apparel line for her own Platinum Prints Collection company. Designs include loungewear apparel: exclusive custom screen-print novelty t-shirts that evoke personal strength and signature style, custom artwork, as well as accessories.

Wardrobe Designer / Supervisor

The North Star: A Perilous Journey To Freedom

Kia Lyons is honored to have contributed her wardrobe supervisor skills to a moving film that raises awareness and encourages equality, freedom and justice for all. She enjoyed the collective love experienced in making such a film.  Designing apparel based on a slave’s life on the road to freedom, was an emotional journey that she will carry close to her heart forever.  Even more so, she will always hold tight, connecting with the amazing allstar cast including jeremiah trotter, lynn whitfield, keith david and clifton powell and more. Gratitude for this 2013 Thomas Phillips film production.
